The Sindh School Education and Literacy Department has issued the academic calendar for 2024–25, announcing a unique decision to promote students in grades I–III without holding exams this year.

According to the official statement, exams for grades IV to VIII are planned after Eid. The exam period for these classes is from April 15 to April 27. Additionally, board exams for grades 9 and 10 are scheduled for May.

The department has also altered the start of the academic year significantly. Instead of the usual April 1 commencement, the new academic session for 2024–25 will begin on August 1, 2024.

For the 2024–25 academic session, the summer break is scheduled from June 1, 2024, to July 31, 2024. Moreover, the winter break is set from December 21, 2024, to December 31, 2024.
