PMD forecasts two-day cold wave in Karachi after torrential rains

In Karachi, the intensity of the cold will increase further tonight, with the temperature likely to go into the single digits.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) says that after the rains, the intensity of the cold will increase, and the duration of the cold wave in Karachi will last for two days.

In this regard, the spokesperson further said that the temperature may go up to 9 to 10 degrees tonight, the temperature will start rising from March 5.

In past history, the meteorological department said that earlier in March 1979, the temperature of Karachi had dropped to 7 degrees.

Earlier, the 17th match of the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) between Lahore Qalandars and Peshawar Zalmi has been canceled due to rain.

Due to the cancellation of the match, both teams have been given one point each.

Another match is also scheduled in the same stadium today (Saturday), in which Islamabad United will face Quetta Gladiators.

After the cancellation of the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars, if we look at the points table, the Multan Sultans team is in first place with 10 points.
