Actress Mehwish Hayat has expressed anger over the disastrous circumstances that have resulted after heavy spells of rainfall in Karachi.

Rainfall in Karachi is considered a blessing. However, the aftermath of the recent spell has made the lives of citizens miserable.

She demanded that those responsible should be held accountable.

In a recent tweet, Tamkha-e-Imtiaz holder said, “My anger knows no abounds. How can a modern city like #Karachi not have the infrastructure to cope with rain in 2day’s age?”

“Our suffering over the past few days proves that those responsible need to be held accountable! Heads have to roll or this’ll keep happening. Enough is enough!”

Actress Ayesha Omar has earlier expressed concern over the miserable situation in Karachi.

Ayesha tweeted that she loves the rain, but she is worried about the struggles people face. “I’m torn. I love, love the rain but it kills me to see what my city and its people have to go through, after. It’s heartbreaking. It’s so unfair”.
