Sharjah has rolled out a new public parking subscription service designed to improve services for residents and businesses. With this service, people can obtain a monthly subscription that covers two preferred zones.
This new offering expands upon the current array of parking subscription choices, showcasing the Sharjah government’s commitment to enhancing services and improving urban mobility. Once activated, subscribers—whether they are individuals or businesses—can utilize paid parking services within Sharjah city, based on their chosen subscription preferences. Subscription fees vary depending on the selected type.

The exceptional parking subscription category is exclusively available to certain groups in Sharjah city, including retired or elderly UAE citizens, residents in paid parking zones, government employees, students, social service beneficiaries, and holders of homeland protectors cards or Waffer cards.
To apply for an exceptional parking subscription, the following documents are required:
-Emirates ID
-Vehicle registration card
-Trade license (for Commercial Subscriptions)
-Proof of Discount Eligibility (for Exceptional Subscriptions)

Applications for exceptional subscriptions must be submitted through approved service centers designated by the Sharjah City Municipality. These service centers can be accessed via the SCM website (www.shjmun.gov.ae) or other approved locations.
Sharjah implemented free parking subscriptions for individuals with disabilities last year, streamlining the parking process and promoting inclusivity in public areas. This service allows eligible individuals with subscription cards to virtually access free public parking, eliminating the requirement to display the card physically on vehicle windshields.
Through a virtual linking process, eligible individuals can effortlessly access their parking benefits without the need to visit municipal offices in person. The authority has digitized the entire process, making it more convenient for eligible individuals to apply for and manage their parking subscriptions online.
