The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasted rain and thunderstorms in various parts of the country, including Karachi.

As a westerly wave moves into Pakistan, regions across the country, including the port city of Karachi, are expected to experience rainfall starting from February 26. This weather system will particularly impact the upper parts of the country.

The Met Office anticipates showers accompanied by thunderstorms in Karachi, Jamshoro, Dadu, Larkana, Naushahro Feroze, Sukkur, and Khairpur on Monday. Additionally, cloudy weather is forecasted for most districts of the province.

In Karachi, the temperature is predicted to range between 15-17 degrees Celsius on Monday, with dry weather expected.

Furthermore, the PMD issued warnings of potential snowfall leading to road closures in northern Balochistan.

Additionally, heavy precipitation may result in flash floods in various streams and nullahs, particularly in Gwadar, Ketch, Panjgur, and Awaran districts on February 26th.

The adverse weather conditions may also disrupt roadways in several regions, including Murree.
