In Lahore, the PDMA Punjab has raised concerns, advising local administrations to prepare for upcoming rain showers in different areas of the province starting Monday, February 26th.
Rain is expected to continue in the upper regions until February 27th, with districts like Attock, Rawalpindi, and Jhelum likely to experience heavy rainfall. Additionally, areas such as Bhakkar, Leh, and Dera Ghazi Khan may encounter both rain and hail.
Furthermore, there is a looming risk of heavy downpours in several urban centers, notably Lahore, which could cause significant disruptions to daily life, particularly concerning road infrastructure and traffic congestion.
In reaction to the impending weather changes, PDMA has promptly sprung into action, notifying District Emergency Operation Centers to maintain a state of heightened readiness.
