Cache is basically a temporary source for certain data, such as sections of a website from your earlier visit. Browser cache includes content from websites that your phone retains during a browsing session, enhancing the browser’s speed upon revisiting those pages.

Cache data can hinder your phone’s browsing performance by consuming storage space, so it’s advisable to routinely clear it out.

How to clear cache on iPhone?

What you’ll need: You can clear your browser cache directly through the iPhone’s settings app, requiring only your iPhone.

Note: Clearance the cache will remove private data and close all open tabs in Safari, requiring sign-in again upon revisiting websites.

-Open your iPhone’s Settings app.

-To purge cached data from Safari, access the Settings app on your iPhone.

-Navigate to Safari from the menu.

-Scroll down within Settings until you locate Safari, then tap to select it.

-Locate the option to Clear History and Website Data.

-Within Safari settings, scroll until you find the option to Clear History and Website Data, then tap it to initiate cache clearance.

-Confirm cache clearance.

-A confirmation prompt will appear; press Clear History and Data to confirm your intent to clear browsing data within Safari.

Upon approval, Safari’s browser cache and cookies will be wiped from your iPhone. However, autofill data should remain intact. Cached images and browsing history will also be removed, and you’ll be logged out of any earlier retrieved websites.
