The forecast, scheduled between February 18th and 19th, predicts heavy rains and hailstorms in key areas such as Attock, Sialkot, and Faisalabad. Additionally, moderate to light rainfall is expected in places like Multan and Bhakkar during the same period.

To mitigate risks and ensure preparedness, the PDMA has instructed District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) to promptly implement necessary measures. Similarly, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has issued forecasts for moderate to heavy rains across Gilgit Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Islamabad, and Balochistan. Anticipating adverse weather conditions from February 18th to 20th, the NDMA warns of possible road closures and landslides, especially in Upper KP, Murree, and Gilgit Baltistan.

As Punjab prepares for challenging weather conditions and neighboring regions also brace themselves, proactive measures and community cooperation are crucial in minimizing the impact of natural disasters.
