A bench consisting of Member Election Commission Sindh Nisar Durrani and Member Election Commission Balochistan Shah Mohammad Jatoi heard the petitions on the complaints in the election results.

Member Election Commission Sindh Nisar Durrani said that the one who lost is celebrating and the one who won is making accusations of rigging, how long will this attitude last? Losing and winning is the beauty of democracy.

Special Secretary Election Commission said that the ROs have released the final results in most of the constituencies, stopping the results at this point will delay the next steps.

After hearing the election excuses, the Election Commission stopped the release of the final result of PB 14 Nasirabad and PB 44 Quetta.

Apart from this, the Election Commission also stopped the release of the final result of PP 33 Gujarat, PP 126 Jhang and PP 128 Jhang.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s lawyer Babar Awan said in the Election Commission that the February 8 election was conducted properly, he is not complaining to the Election Commission about what happened on February 9, the Election Commission has given severe punishment to the Returning Officers in the Daska case.
Babar Awan said that it is not enough to stop the results, strict action should be taken against the RO who violated the oath.

Babarawan demanded a recount of votes in National Assembly Constituency NA 106 Toba Tek Singh, on which the Election Commission sought a report from the RO, withholding the final results in NA 106 Toba Tek Singh.
