Social Activist Faisal Edhi, the son of late Abdul Sattar Edhi, escaped drowning into deep water near Do Darya after his boat capsized during a rescue operation on Wednesday morning.
According to the details, Edhi rescue boat overturned while going to rescue missing labors. Faisal Edhi and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf MPA were also on the same boat.
All officials were rescued by nearby fisherman and are safe now.
The boat carrying Edhi and five others capsized into deep waters near sea view when they started rescue operation for a young man who had already drowned into the sea.

Soon after the incident, all the victims including Faisal Edhi shifted to Ibrahim Haideri.
Faisal Edhi tests COVID-19 positive
Earlier Faisal Edhi, head of Edhi Foundation, a well-known social activist, tested negative for coronavirus.
Talking to a private TV channel, Faisal Edhi said that now he has fully recovered, the report of the COVID-19 test came negative.
Edhi was tested positive for the pandemic on April 21 in Islamabad. The test conducted on April 27 at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences which also came positive.
Prior to his first coronavirus test he met Prime Minister Imran Khan and donated Rs10 million in PM’s Corona Relief Fund.
The social worker was in isolation and is in constant contact with his doctor. Edhi had traveled to Lahore and then to Islamabad, where he met Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Head of the Edhi Foundation, Faisal Edhi, said that patients who have coronavirus they will recovered soon as 80% of patients don’t show any symptoms and get recovered only for few it has become lethal.
He said there is no need to panic world will defeat coronavirus all human beings together will fight with it.
He also directed Edhi workers that they don’t need to dismay and and continue their work with full passion like before adding that he will be available on phone all the time and after defeating COVID-19 he will join them again.
