Peshawar expecting more Rain & Snowfall

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts more rain and snowfall in Peshawar and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the upcoming weekend. This is due to a westerly wave affecting Balochistan and upper Sindh, expected to impact the upper regions of Pakistan.

This pattern is expected to continue on Saturday and Sunday in various regions including Charsaddha, Nowshera, Swabi, Buner, and more.

Peshawar’s minimum temperatures are projected to range between 04-06 degrees Celsius on Saturday and Sunday. In the last 24 hours, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa experienced light rain, thunderstorms, and snowfall over mountains, while cold weather prevailed in other parts of the province.

Kalam recorded the lowest temperature in the province, dropping to 14 degrees Celsius below freezing. In Peshawar, the minimum temperature was recorded at 04 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 76 percent.
