The UAE SWAT Challenge in Dubai is happening from February 3 to 7 at Al Ruwayyah’s Training City, organized by Dubai Police.
The prize money has increased from $170,000 to $260,000. It’s the fifth edition, and spectators can attend for free. There are 87 teams from 48 countries, including five all-women and two mixed teams.
The grand prize is $80,000, and there are descending awards for the top four teams. Other top 10 teams also get cash prizes. Daily challenges offer extra rewards, with the first-place team getting $5,000.

The challenges include tactical competition, obstacle course, officer rescue, tower challenge, and assault competition.
This year, there’s a special e-sports tournament with ‘Counter Strike 2’ and ‘Valorant,’ featuring 40 players and a Dh50,000 prize pool. It’s the largest-ever edition with eight new teams participating.
