The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) forecasts cold and dry weather in Sindh for the next two days. A shallow westerly wave is present in the western parts of Pakistan.
This weather pattern will bring mainly cold and dry conditions to Karachi, Hyderabad, and most parts of the province on Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday. Expect dense fog/smog in Jacobabad, Mohenjodaro, Sukkur, Larkana, Dadu, Ghotki, Kashmore, and Padidan during morning and night hours.
In Karachi, temperatures are expected to range between 12-14 degrees Celsius on Monday and Tuesday. In Hyderabad, the minimum temperature is likely to be between 08-10 degrees Celsius on the same days. During the last 24 hours, cold and dry weather was observed in Karachi, Hyderabad, and most parts of Sindh. Dense fog/smog affected upper districts, causing disruptions in vehicular movement on roads from night to morning.
Mohenjo-Daro experienced the coldest temperature at 05 degrees Celsius. In the evening, relative humidity was recorded at 62 percent in Karachi, 29 percent in the evening temperature of 13 degrees Celsius, and 48 percent in Hyderabad, where the evening temperature was 09 degrees Celsius.
