LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has started the process of providing postal ballot papers for the general elections.
Eligible persons with postal ballot paper will complete the process of casting their votes till January 22 while application forms for postal ballot can be downloaded from the Election Commission website.
On receiving the postal ballot, the voter shall send his vote to the District Returning Officer(DRO) as per the prescribed time.
It should be noted that the general elections in the country are scheduled for February 8 next month, and the preparations have entered the final stages.
ECP said printing of ballot papers for the general elections is going on as usual.

Earlier, Chief Election Commissioner Sardar Sikandar Raja took notice of the attack on the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) election office in Lahore and ordered the registration of an FIR in the incident.
