On Thursday, users across the world faced difficulties in accessing Google services including Gmail and Drive. The U.S. technology giant informed its users that they were already “aware of service disruption”.
Several frustrated users across the globe including Australia, Japan, France, and the United States complained about the issue on their respective Twitter accounts.

One of the users tweeted,
“Anyone else having issues with @gmail in Australia?”
Another Google user from Brooklyn, New York wrote,
Nearly 16 years in and this is the first time I can remember Gmail being completely down.”
In response, Google’s @Gmail Twitter replied,
“Thanks for reporting. We are aware of a service disruption at the moment.”
Google went on to say that they are looking into the matter and will soon resolve the issue.
