Dave Navarro will miss Jane’s addiction’s upcoming tour due to COVID

Due to his ongoing COVID-19 symptoms, Dave Navarro confirmed on Friday that he would not be attending Jane’s Addiction and Smashing Pumpkin’s “Spirits On Fire” tour.

He wrote in a statement on Twitter, “To all of Jane’s Addiction fans attending the Jane’s Smashing Pumpkins ‘Spirits On Fire’ tour, I am sorry to have to say that I will not be attending due to my continued battle with Long Covid that I have been dealing with since last December,”

“I had hoped for a full recovery by October, but I am still very fatigued and will not be able to join this leg. I am personally gutted as our original bass player has returned, Eric Avery. We wanted to bring you the original lineup, but that will have to wait until I am recovered. While the band is touring, I will be working on some new Jane’s material in the studio here in LA.”

Although Navarro, 55, will be unable to perform during the trip, he announced that “the great Troy Van Leeuwen will be filling in for me.”

He has played in a number of bands, including Queens of the Stone Age, Failure, A Perfect Circle, Eagles of Death Metal, and The Damned, to mention a few.

Navarro added, “I am honored to have him help make this tour happen. Though I am saddened to not make this tour, I am focused on making a full recovery and re-joining the guys when I am able.”

“I truly wish the band well on this tour, and I am confident they will bring everything to make it a fabulous show! Go get ’em guys!” he concluded. “Maybe I can get to a show one night and watch my own band for the first time ever. Thank you for understanding.”

The musician spoke about his long-haul COVID encounter in May, even though he had tested negative, in a since-deleted Instagram post. In December, he became ill for the first time.

“So yeah, I’m one of the ones who came down with the ‘long haul covid,'” Navarro wrote at the time, according to NME. “Been sick since December and supposedly will be back to my old self in… nobody knows how long.”

“If there are any of you who are still suffering long after your negative results, I’m just saying you aren’t alone,”
He continued. “The fatigue and isolation are pretty awful, but try to spend your time with the ones you love and stay creative. That’s how I’m trying to get through this thing. Also, lots of spiritual practices, meditation and yoga have been very helpful. I’ll be OK, just don’t know when.”

Previously, Saba Azad Hrithik Roshan’s partner also shared her opinion regarding the movie. She wrote: “Congratulations to team #VikramVedha for a super engaging film- I’ve seen it twice and I am going to see it again… and again!! Congratulations on an excellent performance to the most hardworking human I know- you make me so so proud Ro!!”

The hit Tamil movie of the same name has a Hindi adaptation called Vikram Vedha. The main actors in the original movie were Vijay Sethupathi and R Madhavan. Actress Radhika Apte is featured in the Hindi remake as well.

Reports that Kareena Kapoor will soon premiere her new movie, The Devotion of Suspect X. She will make her digital debut with the movie as well.

Tamron Hall invited Spice Girl Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm as a special guest to her show this week and uploaded a video that appears to show the two having a great time.

The audience can be seen singing along and clapping while the singers perform “Wannabe” in the video. The famed Sporty Spice, a former member of the Spice Girls, was even dressed in one of her distinctive tracksuits, but she chose to wear it with heels rather than the tennis shoes that made her famous in the 1990s.

The Tamron Hall Show host captioned the photo, “Friday vibes at @tamronhallshow with the one and only Sporty Spice @melaniecmusic! #tamfam,” saying, “My audition for when the Spice Girls have another tour.

Hall stated that the Spice Girls had affected “generations of fans, including me” while introducing Chisholm on her programme. They talked about Chisholm’s time in the group and the tales she shares in The Sporty One: My Life as a Spice Girl, her most recent book.

she explained, “We got into music because we loved performing, and we wanted to be famous, and we wanted to travel the world — we didn’t think about girl power and equality. But quite quickly, we hit sexism in the industry.”

People tried to instruct them on how to live after the boy bands, who were so well-liked, according to Chisholm.

“We were well looked after, in a sense. But there was no support for your mental health,” Chisholm said. “I wasn’t told I couldn’t date, but it was strongly advised. They were probably right, but it wasn’t helpful at the time.”

Although she doesn’t vote in this country, she claimed that “my husband can vote and one day, my daughter will.” Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, the couple’s daughter, was born to Priyanka and singer Nick Jonas.

‘Don’t have money machine behind us’ for Oscars says, Pan Nalin

In response to a query on RRR, director of Chhello Show (Last Film Show) Pan Nalin stated that his team is “relying on strength” of the movie and does not have a “money machine” behind them. As he discussed SS Rajamouli’s RRR in a recent interview, Pan Nalin observed that people “speak about glamour and big stars more.” Chhello Show has recently been chosen as India’s official submission for the 95th Academy Awards’ Best International Feature Film category.

This information was released last month by the Film Federation of India (FFI). Chhello Show was picked above movies like RRR, Brahmastra, The Kashmir Files, and Rocketry, according to FFI President TP Aggarwal. On October 14, the movie will debut in theatres around the nation.

Pan Nalin told news channel, “In our country, media and people talk about the glamour and big stars more. We have got awards at several film festivals in America. We have got really good international distributors, Samuel Goldwyn Films and Orange Studio for the US and European markets, respectively. We don’t have a money machine behind us but we are relying on the strength of our movie. Samuel Goldwyn is organising screenings of Chhello Show in the US. Last year, I was invited to become a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. So, I can organise screenings too. I just want people to watch the film and decide.”
