In Itlay, the covid-19 outbreak halted tourism and traffic in the canals

In Itlay, the covid-19 outbreak halted tourism and traffic in the canals eventually Venice canals became clear enough to see fishes after almost 60 years.

The coronavirus pandemic had an unexpected side effect in Venice, where the normally cloudy canals have transformed into water crystal clear enough to see fish swimming below.

Italy’s tourism industry came to a screeching halt once the number of coronavirus cases began to spike in the country, but those who remain posted to social media images of the traffic-less canals.

Swans were seen in the water, while dolphins were spotted swimming in the port.

However, the transparent water isn’t so much a sign of better water quality as it is the result of the lack of boat traffic, which typically kicks sediment to the surface, Pierpaolo Campostrini, the managing director for the Consortium for Managing Scientific Research on Venice Lagoon System, told ABC News via email.

“The low turbidity of the water does not mean cleanliness,” Campostrini said. “The transparency is due to the absence of sediment resuspension.”

The cold temperature of the water also plays a part, Campostrini said. At about 57 degrees Fahrenheit, there is a little synthesis of organic compounds from carbon dioxide, which doesn’t begin until about 62 degrees Fahrenheit.

It’s likely that the air quality has improved since “every kind of pollutants decreased a lot,” but a chemical analysis would need to be performed to say so for sure, Campostrini added.

Amid the crisis, the clear water is a small reprieve for Venice, which experienced flooding by the highest tide in more than 50 years, causing inestimable damage to the centuries-old city.

Did you know that Oresund bridge is a marvel of modern engineering?

The Oresund bridge is a marvel of modern engineering. It consists of a combined road and rail line that runs for 8 kilometers, at which point it then transitions into an underwater tunnel

The Oresund strait separates the Danish island of Zealand from the southern Swedish province of Scania. Its width is 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) at the narrowest point between Kronborg Castle at Helsingor in Denmark – but this couldn’t stop these Scandinavian countries. They designed a magnificent bridge that turns into a tunnel.

The Oresund was designed by the Danish engineering firm COWI and the main architect was George K.S. Routine, is operated jointly by both states. The Oresund Bridge runs nearly 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the Swedish coast to the artificial island of Peberholm, which lies in the middle of the strait. The crossing of the strait is completed by a 4 km (2.5-mile) underwater tunnel, called the Drogden Tunnel, from Peberholm to the Danish island of Amager.

Human brain can hold upto three million hours of television

The human brain has enough memory to hold three million hours of television

If each neuron in the brain could only help store a single memory, running out of space would be a problem. You might have only a few gigabytes of storage space, similar to space in an iPod or a USB flash drive. Yet neurons combine so that each one helps with many memories at a time, exponentially increasing the brain’s memory storage capacity to something closer to around 2.5 petabytes (or a million gigabytes).

For comparison, if your brain worked like a digital video recorder in a television, 2.5 petabytes would be enough to hold three million hours of TV shows. You would have to leave the TV running continuously for more than 300 years to use up all that storage.

Britney Spears Is Finally Free From Her Father's Control

Leading American singer Britney Spears gained her father’s right to interfere in her private life after a long legal battle.

A Los Angeles court judge deprived Jamie Spears of her legal right to sponsor the singer and gave her temporary guardianship status in the best interests of Spears.

The judge ordered Jamie Spears to transfer all guardianship powers to singer Britney Spears.

Britney Spears’ lawyer called the singer’s father a poisonous, abusive, and cruel man and said that Britney deserved to wake up tomorrow morning without fear of her father’s guardianship and that is what my client wants.

Background to the legal battle for guardianship between Britney and her father

Singer Britney Spears, fed up with her father’s interference in her personal life, had approached the court to revoke her guardianship powers, in which the singer argued that her father had controlled her life for the past 13 years. Are doing

Britney Spears is one of America’s leading singers for her voice and beauty. She made a fortune at an early age, but her fall began in 2004 when she met her childhood friend Jason Alexander. The marriage ended a few days later.

The court then appointed her father and a lawyer as her guardians, overseeing Britney’s wealth, health, and even her personal life for the past 12 years.

Last year, the actress’s father, James Spears, resigned from the post of a chief guardian due to ill health, while his lawyer also resigned from his post last year, after which the court temporarily appointed another lawyer. Appointed the singer’s mentor.

Following the expiration of the new guardian’s term, the court re-appointed her father as Britney Spears’ guardian until 2021, on which the singer had approached the court to remove her father from the position of her guardian.
