Lahore-Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that every penny of the people will be spent in the right place and Punjab government is trying to the early rehabilitation of the flood victims.
While talking to the media, the Chief Minister of Punjab said that he will build a housing society for journalists in Faisalabad and added that life insurance for journalists to be included in the Punjab budget.
He said that Rescue 1122 has been expanded to small and small districts, and now medicines should be made free in emergencies in all hospitals of the province.
Chief Minister said that every farmer will be given free solar pumps and homeless people will be given homes at a 40 percent discount. He said that there has been a discussion with Sania Nishtar about the houses, and the flood victims will not be left alone.
Chief Minister Punjab said that every penny of the people will be spent in the right place, and laws are being made which cannot be changed by future governments.
On other hand, Chief Minister Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has said that the Punjab government is trying to the early rehabilitation of the flood victims.
Former Speaker Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal Sahi has met with Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Parvez Elahi.
In the meeting, issues of mutual interest and rehabilitation and resettlement of flood victims were discussed.
He said that the philanthropists are contributing funds to the Chief Minister Flood Relief Fund, and he appreciates the spirit of the philanthropists participating in the rehabilitation of the flood victims.
CM said that medical camps have been set up in the flood-affected areas to prevent epidemics and provide medical facilities, and medical teams are there to treat flood victims.
