Greece reopens embassy in Kyiv

The Greek foreign ministry declared that its embassy in Kyiv will reopen on Tuesday.

According to the statement, the embassy in Kyiv will only function with critical personnel for the time being.

Whereas, the Greek Consulate General in Odesa will continue to give all necessary help to Greek nationals and expatriates in Ukraine.

Manolis Androulakis served as Greece’s consul general in Mariupol.

He is named chief of the embassy in Kiev.

The reopening is the most recent in a series of anticipated reopening announcements from countries such as the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Italy, Sweden, and South Korea.

US Ambassador to Ukraine Kristina Kvien and a handful of US diplomats returned to the embassy in Kyiv on Sunday.
