Two boys charges with murder in Downham
After a man was stabbed in south-east London, two youths have been charged with murder. On November 4th, a 21-year-old man named Gabriel Petrov Stoyanov was attacked in Downham’s Bromley Road.
His murder was allegedly committed on Friday by two lads, ages 14 and 17, who have been held in custody pending their upcoming court date.
Additionally, a 16-year-old boy who was wanted for interrogation was detained on murder charges.
On the afternoon of November 5, Mr. Stoyanov perished as a result of his wounds.
Additionally, a 46-year-old male has been detained on suspicion of helping a criminal.
In a statement his mother said Gabriel had a “sparkling personality and infinite goodness in his heart”.
“He was taken from us far too soon in the most brutal and cruel way,” she said.
“Gabriel was loved by many, he had a wonderful sense of humour, he was easy-going, compassionate, always ready to help others.
“We are devastated by his unnecessary loss, just when his life as a bright, passionate, and motivated adult was beginning.”
While thanking the public for their assistance, Det Ch Insp Kelly Allen stated that the investigation was still ongoing.
