Following her space mission, astronaut Kellie Gerardi posted a precious moment to X with her daughter. After landing back on Earth, the space researcher on a Virgin Galactic mission hurried to give her daughter a hug.

Gerardi wrote, “Thank you for capturing these moments, @virgingalactic This was an incredible and powerful core memory for both me and my daughter. My sweet Delta V.”

“The moment I saw my baby again after returning safely from space,” is the text insert that appears at the beginning of the video. A craft is shown landing on the runway in the video. Gerardi jumps out and rushes in the direction of her daughter as soon as it landed.
