On Thursday, June 9, Black Shark introduced its gaming flagship Black Shark 5 series, which includes the vanilla Black Shark 5 and the Black Shark 5 Pro.

The Xiaomi-owned business had already launched the Black Shark 5 series earlier this year in March, with magnetic pop-up triggers, a 144Hz display, and a liquid cooling system. The Chinese lineup included the Black Shark 5 RS, which was not available at the global launch.

The Black Shark 5 is available from the Black Shark website for $549 (approximately Rs. 43,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage option. The version with 12GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs $649. (roughly Rs. 60,000).

The base edition of the Black Shark 5 Pro with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage costs $799 (approximately Rs. 62,000). The 12GB RAM + 256GB model costs $899 (approximately Rs. 70,000), while the 16GB RAM + 256GB RAM model costs $999. (roughly Rs. 78,000). It’s available in Nebula White and Stellar Black on the official Black Shark website.

His phone has a 6.67-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and a touch sampling rate of 720Hz. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and Adreno 730 GPU power the Black Shark 5 Pro. The Black Shark 5 Pro has a triple back camera arrangement, with the primary sensor measuring 108 megapixels. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel selfie camera. It has a 4,650mAh battery with 120W Hyper Charge technology support. Magnetic pop-up triggers and an anti-gravity twin VC liquid cooling system are included in the Black Shark 5 Pro.
