Johnny Depp to face more difficulties from Amber Heard’s defamation case

Johnny Depp to face more difficulties from Amber Heard’s defamation case

Hollywood star Johnny Depp returns to the witness stand on Monday to answer additional questions from attorneys for ex-wife Amber Heard in front of a jury that will decide the actors’ dueling defamation claims.

Depp, 58, is suing Heard, 36, for $50 million after she accused him of abuse before and during their roughly two-year marriage. The “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor has argued that Heard was the one who became violent in the relationship.

Heard, known for roles in “Aquaman” and “Justice League,” has counter-sued for $100 million, saying Depp smeared her by calling her a liar.

Last week, Heard’s attorneys presented emails and text messages that Depp had sent to Heard, friends, family and associates that were often filled with expletives and vulgar descriptions.

‘Let’s burn her’ Johnny Depp’s horrific texts about burning Amber Heard revealed

Johnny Depp’s horrific texts about burning Amber Heard revealed

In the midst of a $100 million defamation trial against Amber Heard, Johnny Depp’s disgusting text exchange with actor Paul Bettany was read aloud in court.

As Heard’s lawyer Benjamin Rottenborn read out texts Depp made to Bettany on June 11, 2013, he interrogated the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

The message read, “Let’s burn Amber!!!” Rottenborn asked Depp: “You see that?”

Depp responded, “I do see that.”

The lawyer then said, “You didn’t stop. The next text down says ‘Let’s drown her before we burn her!!!’’ I read that right?” Depp responded, “Yes.”

Rottenborn further mentioned, “I’d like to apologize to the court and the jury for some of the language I’m going to use,” before reading the next text Depp sent to Bettany.

“I will (expletive) her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she is dead.” Rottenborn said, “Did I read that right?” Depp said: ‘You certainly did.’

Rottenborn remarked, “You wrote that about the woman who would later become your wife” to which Depp again answered. “Yes.”

During his second day on the stand, Depp admitted to the toxic nature of his relationship with ex-wife Amber Heard.

He began by saying, “It may start with a slap,” according to Rolling Stone. “It might all start with a shove.” It may start with a TV remote being thrown at my head. It may be a glass of wine thrown in my face. But, on the whole, it was consistent.”

The actor also spoke about the “parade of insults” he had to suffer when Heard used his past against him.He testified to the jury, “I was sort of not allowed to be right, not allowed to have a voice.”

Johnny Depp admits he thought Amber Heard was having affair with James Franco

John Depp is an actor, producer, and musician from the United States. He has won numerous awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as three Academy Awards and two British Academy Film Awards.

When Johnny Depp took the stand on the sixth day of their defamation trial, he was asked about Amber Heard’s loyalty during their courting. The 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star admitted in court that he thought his then-girlfriend was having an affair with James Franco.

Depp stated that while filming parts for the film, he became concerned that her relationship with Depp was deeper off-screen. Depp said he felt Heard was having an affair with Franco while on the hot seat in a Virginia court on Thursday, and the two even battled over the allegations.

Keenan Wyatt, the Into The Woods actor’s close friend, was already questioned about the incident earlier this week. Elaine Bredehoft, Heard’s lawyer, asked Wyatt if he remembered Depp asking Heard if she liked Franco. Bredehoft also wondered if Wyatt heard the actor ask his girlfriend if she had “slipped him [Franco] a tongue.”

Depp’s pal did not recall the chat but said he had no idea what happened behind closed doors between the couple.

“I would not agree that I was very drunk on that flight. I had taken a double dose on that Roxicodone, which is different than a blackout,” he said in court.

“Once again, I find myself in a place of shame and regret. Of course, I am sorry. I really don’t know why, or what happened. But I will never do it again. I want to get better for you. And for me. I must. My illness somehow crept up and grabbed me. I can’t do it again. I can’t live like that again. And I know you can’t either. I must get better. And I will. For us both. Starting today. I love you. Again, I am so sorry. So sorry.. I love you and feel so bad for letting you down.”

“I see that understanding and forgiveness ain’t on the menu,” he wrote, “I’m disappointed to see that, but, not too surprised, I suppose.”

Sister of Johnny Depp says Mom physically abused them we vowed never to repeat

John Christopher Depp II is an actor, producer, and musician from the United States. He has won numerous awards and nominations, including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award, as well as three Academy Awards and two British Academy Film Awards.

“None of what was happening in our home felt good,” Johnny Depp’s

Christi Dembrowski, Johnny Depp’s sister, spoke in court Tuesday about being mistreated as a youngster by their mother, Betty Sue Palmer.

Depp, 58, sued his ex-wife Amber Heard for defamation over a Washington Post op-ed she penned in 2018 on surviving domestic violence, though she never mentioned Depp by name. Dembrowski, 61, testified on Tuesday in the Fairfax County Courthouse in Virginia about the cruelty she and her brother witnessed at home when they were children.

“We would run and hide,” she recalled of seeing her mom being abusive toward their father, who she said would not react. Dembrowski added, “She would hit us. She would throw things.” When asked if Depp ever hit back at his mom when she was abusive, Dembrowski said no, “He never went to that place.”

She said, “none of what was happening in our home felt good. And so, as I got older, both Johnny and I actually, we decided that once we left, once we had our own home, we were never going to repeat, ever, anything similar in any way to our childhood. We were gonna do it differently.”
