Mohammad Rizwan, the captain of Multan Sultans, has expressed that the final of the ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) against Islamabad United is just another game for him.

The Sultans are participating in their fourth consecutive PSL final, while this is United’s first appearance in the final since 2018.

Both team captains met for a photo session at Karachi’s Custom House before the final and shared their thoughts.

“We are playing the fourth consecutive final. Everyone in the team is excited but for me, the game is just like a season opener,” Rizwan said.

On the other hand, Shadab is thrilled to be playing in the final after a gap of six years. “Our team bonding has always been top notch and we have stayed like a family and play like United.”

Both captains ended their statements by encouraging fans to come and watch the final at the National Bank Cricket Stadium on Monday.

It’s important to remember that the Sultans asserted their dominance and expertise by defeating Peshawar Zalmi in Qualifier 1 and making it to the final.

Meanwhile, United made it to the final following two back-to-back victories in direct knock-out games against the Quetta Gladiators and the Zalmi.
