South Africa opts to bat first against Pakistan

South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first.

Faisalabad: South Africa won the toss and chose to bat first in the deciding One Day International (ODI) against Pakistan at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad.

Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi stated that even if Pakistan had won the toss, they would have opted to bowl first. He also confirmed the inclusion of Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed in the playing XI.

Shaheen Afridi further mentioned that the national team has made two key changes for this match.

In the ongoing series, Pakistan won the first ODI by 2 wickets, while South Africa bounced back to defeat Pakistan by 8 wickets in the second ODI.
