Luke Wood joins PSL 2025 draft list of global stars
England’s left-arm fast bowler, Luke Wood, has officially registered for the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 Draft, joining a growing list of international talent for the upcoming season. Known for his pace and adaptability, Wood adds to the rising prestige of the PSL, which continues to attract top cricket players from around the world.
Wood’s entry comes alongside several notable international cricketers who have registered for the 2025 PSL season. The list includes players from various countries, further elevating the competition’s global appeal.

The inclusion of these top-tier international players highlights the PSL’s growing stature as a premier T20 league, making it a key fixture in the global cricket calendar.
Founded in 2015 by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the PSL launched in 2016 with five franchises: Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, and Quetta Gladiators.
By 2018, Multan Sultans joined the league, expanding it to six teams. The PSL has not only become a platform for local talent but has also played a significant role in reviving international cricket in Pakistan.
