In a highly anticipated boxing match between Pakistan and India, Usman Wazeer of Pakistan claimed victory over India’s Thehlak Selvam in just 65 seconds. The bout took place at a boxing arena in Thailand and was broadcast live on Geo Super.

The six-round contest barely got underway when Wazeer delivered a powerful punch that sent Selvam to the canvas. Struggling to recover, Selvam was hit again by another heavy blow from Wazeer, leaving him unable to continue.

The referee, recognizing that the Indian boxer could not respond, stopped the fight and declared Usman Wazeer the winner on technical grounds.

This victory marks Usman Wazeer’s 14th consecutive win in professional boxing, further establishing him as a rising star in the sport. He has also earned prestigious titles, including the World Youth Title, Asian Title, and Middle East Title, bringing honour to Pakistan and his home region of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Following his triumph, Wazeer urged the Prime Ministers of Pakistan and India to promote better relations between the two nations, highlighting the potential for sports to bridge divides.
