On Sunday, Hubert Hurkacz of Poland won the 2022 Hong Kong International Tennis Challenge by defeating Cameron Norrie of Great Britain in straight sets in just 65 minutes.

10 in the world Hurkacz defeated China’s Wu Yibing in the semifinals on Saturday, setting up a matchup with Norrie, who defeated American Taylor Fritz to progress.

Hurkacz defeated Norrie 6-4, 6-4 in the Victoria Park Tennis Stadium, which was packed to capacity.

World No. 9 Fritz defeated Wu 2-1 earlier on Sunday to place third.

The Hong Kong International Tennis Challenge, an exhibition tournament held in the Victoria Park Tennis Stadium from December 23–25, featured three top-20 players and Chinese up-and-comers competing in a singles knockout format.

The Hong Kong International Tennis Challenge is a unique exhibition tennis match. Owned by the Hong Kong Tennis Association, the match is sponsored by Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited and the Hong Kong government.
