Ban vs SL: Sri Lanka to tour Bangladesh to play two Tests

Sri Lanka will visit Bangladesh in May to play two Tests only. This will be their second visit to the country in the past few years, Sri Lanka Cricket said.

The first Test of the series will be played on the soil of Chittagong from May 15-19 while the second Test will be hosted by the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Dhaka from May 23-27.

The Test series will be a part of the ongoing ICC World test Championship, according to the Bangladesh Cricket Board.

Sri Lanka is currently standing in the fifth spot in the World Test Championship rankings while Bangladesh is at eighth.

Sri Lanka played three one-day internationals during a 2021 series in Bangladesh which the hosts won 2-1.
