Pakistan’s Aliya Riaz named ‘Women’s Cricketer Of The Year’

Pakistan’s Aliya Riaz was dubbed the women’s cricketer of the year after her remarkable performances in the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia.

According to the details, Aliya Riaz was also accorded the ‘Woman Emerging Cricketer of the Year’ Trophy.

After her honours, “This award means a lot to me and I will like to contribute to my team’s success in the upcoming seasons by further improving my performances,” she said.

On the other hand, Skipper Babar Azam has been dropped to the fourth position in the latest Twenty20 (T20I) rankings released by International Cricket Council (ICC).

According to the latest T20I rankings, England’s Dawid Malan stands at number 1, while Australia’s Aaron Finch has moved to the 2nd number.
