Gohar Rasheed, one of Pakistan’s most loved stars, recently tied the knot with fellow superstar Kubra Khan. Their wedding was nothing short of magical, from their Nikkah in Makkah to the grand celebrations in Pakistan, the couple received immense love and blessings from fans all over.

In a candid interview with Fuchsia, Gohar opened up about his marriage, the lessons he has learned, and how life has changed for him.

He revealed how his deep friendship with Kubra slowly blossomed into love. “I can’t say when it happened exactly,” he shared, “maybe I was always drawn to her. But you don’t usually think of your close friends like that. Once it happened, there was no turning back.” He said building their marriage on the foundation of friendship has been a blessing and he is truly grateful for it.

Gohar also shared heartfelt advice for those planning to get married. He suggested fulfilling personal wishes and goals before marriage, since marriage is a spiritual and serious bond that demands commitment and responsibility. He also emphasized that parents, especially of boys, should teach their children about the true responsibilities of marriage.

When it comes to love, Gohar believes that while gifts and flowers are wonderful, the best way to make your partner feel special is by giving her security and freedom. “A woman should feel safe enough to express herself openly, be goofy if she wants, and try new things without fear of judgment,” he said.

In a sweet revelation, Gohar admitted he was the first to fall in love. At first, Kubra rejected his proposal, but he stayed persistent until she finally said yes. Calling her a blessing in his life, he expressed how lucky he feels to have her as his partner.
