Saleem Sheikh talks about his battle against severe illness

Saleem Sheikh hails from a highly influential showbiz family, with his brother Javed Sheikh, brother-in-law Behroze Sabzwari, nephews Shahroz Sabzwari and Shahzad Sheikh, and niece Momal Sheikh all established stars. He has built a successful film career and an equally thriving drama career. Additionally, he owns a business and enjoys immense popularity among fans for his versatile roles.

A few years ago, Saleem Sheikh experienced a major health scare, falling severely ill and losing all his weight, which deeply worried his family. However, Saleem Sheikh has since made a full recovery and has returned with a bang, undertaking several successful projects. Today, he looks healthy and fit once again.

In an interview with Wasi Shah, Saleem revealed how he fought that illness. He said “When you get sick, the trauma is not just physical but emotional as well. One needs to be emotionally strong and that is what he did. He shared that he made himself forget the illness and he kept working and going through his normal routine which brought him back to life.”
