Federal Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has stated that Pakistan’s economy is recovering and the political situation is improving.

Speaking to the media, he highlighted the long-standing presence of Pakistanis in the UK and noted that the Army Chief is currently on an official visit there. “He was given a guard of honor with respect and dignity,” Asif said.

He further emphasized Pakistan’s diplomatic ties with the UK and criticized PTI for using inappropriate language during such an important visit. “PTI is using offensive language; their founder himself once said that the Army Chief is like a father,” he remarked.

The minister condemned the use of derogatory language on social media, stating, “You don’t speak this way about someone you call a father.” He claimed that the entire conflict started over the issue of appointing Faiz Hameed as the Army Chief, adding, “For them, neither the country nor its institutions hold any importance.”

Khawaja Asif accused PTI of running propaganda against the country but assured that such narratives would soon fade. “It will take some time, but their politics of chaos will come to an end,” he concluded.

Khawaja Asif stated that PTI’s true face is being exposed, and their use of such language and rhetoric is inappropriate. “No conspiracy like this can harm Pakistan,” he asserted. He further added, “No one has ever taken a stance against the country and the nation like PTI’s founder.”
