NED University not responsible for mismanagement during MDCAT 2024: VC

KARACHI: Dr. Sarosh Lodhi, Vice Chancellor of NED University, clarified that the university is not accountable for the mismanagement during the MDCAT test held at NED and Dow Ojha Campus.

He stressed that while the university provides the venue, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) is responsible for the test’s administration, security, and overall execution.

Dr. Lodhi emphasized that NED’s reputation should not be damaged due to issues related to the MDCAT test. He pointed out that NED conducts its own entrance exams twice a year, which are well-organized and disciplined, as demonstrated by substantial media coverage.

He urged journalists to confirm facts with the university before reporting on matters involving NED.
