A District and Sessions Courts of Islamabad on Monday accepted Ex-PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry’s request for exemption from attendance in Section 144 violation case.

The court, presided over by Additional Sessions Judge Tahir Abbas Supra, considered Fawad Chaudhry’s request for exemption from attending the proceedings.

Advocate Qamar Inayat, Fawad Chaudhry’s lawyer, represented him in court.

Fawad’s counsel told the court that his client is currently on judicial remand in Adiala Jail, citing his inability to appear in person.

The court, acknowledging Fawad Chaudhry’s circumstances, granted his request for exemption from attendance.
