LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) and former prime minister Imran Khan demanded for immediate release of Azhar Mashwani.

In his Twitter message, Imran Khan said “Enough is enough. Police in Punjab and Islamabad are breaking all laws with impunity as they target PTI. Today Azhar Mashwani was abducted in the afternoon from Lahore and his whereabouts are unknown. On March 18 Senator Shibli Faraz and Omar Sultan were badly beaten by Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police.”

PTI chief said despite both having permission to be inside Judicial Complex. He further said Hassaan Niazi was abducted immediately after getting bail and later charged with sham FIRs to keep him locked up.

He further said “I am sending pictures of IGs Punjab, ICT and of all officers indulging in this criminal behaviour to international Human Rights organisation so they can identify those working for the state and indulging in abductions, illegal break-ins into homes, custodial torture and violence against political leaders and unarmed workers of PTI.”

Chairman PTI demanded immediate release of Azhar Mashwani.

Earlier, Senior PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said claimed that Azhar Mashwani was kidnapped by unknown persons from Lahore following the IG Punjab’s ‘threatening speech’ today.
