LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is likely to be arrested and a four-member FIA team has been formed in this regard, BOL News reported citing sources.

Sources in the know have said that the four-member team of FIA Lahore has been formed on the instructions of the Ministry of Interior.

It is also said that Director FIA Lahore Sarfraz Khan will lead the work team while the FIA team will arrest Imran Khan with the help of local police.

According to the sources, Imran Khan will be handed over to the team from Islamabad after his arrest. In this regard, the FIA and the police have completed preparations, while the police have been instructed to provide all possible assistance to the FIA.

Sources said that on the occasion of the arrest, there should be no conflict with the lawyers. The top officials of FIA and police have also completed consultations with various lawyers’ organizations in this regard.

It should be noted that there is a possibility of arresting Imran Khan on the occasion of his appearance in the High Court, however, due to the reaction of the activists, arresting Imran Khan from Zaman Park will be avoided.
