In a dramatic and rain-affected match at the Hong Kong Sixes, India narrowly defeated Pakistan by 2 runs using the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern (DLS) method.

The encounter, which had fans on the edge of their seats, was cut short due to persistent rain, leading to a tense and thrilling conclusion.

The much-anticipated clash between archrivals Pakistan and India, part of the Hong Kong Sixes tournament, was interrupted by weather conditions, disrupting the flow of the game.

Pakistan, captained by Muhammad Abbas, won the toss and opted to field, giving India the chance to set the target.

India posted a competitive total of 86 runs for the loss of 4 wickets in their allotted 6 overs. Pakistan’s Muhammad Shehzad was the standout bowler for his side, picking up 2 wickets in his 2 overs.

In reply, Pakistan needed 87 runs in 6 overs to win. Their chase got off to a solid start, with the team reaching 41 runs for the loss of 1 wicket after just 3 overs.

However, as Pakistan looked to close in on the target, rain interrupted the play, and despite efforts to resume, the match could not continue.
