WWE confirms date for John Cena’s final match

Washington D.C.: WWE has officially announced that 16-time World Champion John Cena will step into the ring for the final time on December 13, 2025, at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C., marking the end of one of the most celebrated careers in wrestling history.

The 48-year-old icon had earlier revealed that 2025 would be his farewell year. Since then, John Cena has been touring the globe on his official Farewell Tour, which included his historic 17th World Title win at WrestleMania 41 a record-breaking achievement that solidified his place as WWE’s greatest of all time.

Over the course of his two-decade-long career, Cena collected numerous accolades, including five United States Championships, two Royal Rumble victories, and countless headline-making rivalries that transformed WWE’s modern era.

Taking to social media, Cena teased his last appearance with the cryptic caption:

“One last dance, Final 13/12/25.”

While WWE has not yet revealed who John Cena’s final opponent will be, the match is already being billed as one of the most emotionally charged moments in sports entertainment history.
