A Scottish woman Jolietta Lorena Martinez has converted to Islam inspired by the acclaimed Turkish television series Kuruluş: Osman (Establishment: Osman), according to foreign media reports.

The Turkish production company stated that Martinez developed a deep fascination with Turkish history and Islamic culture after watching the drama, which ultimately led to her embracing Islam.

Speaking to Turkish media, Martinez revealed, “During the COVID-19 lockdown, I began watching Turkish TV series, which sparked my interest in studying Islamic teachings.”
