Renowned Pakistani vocalists Meesha Shafi and Arooj Aftab have taken significant steps toward international recognition by submitting their recent musical works for Grammy Award consideration.

Meesha Shafi has entered her debut solo album, Khulney Ko, for nominations in three prestigious categories: Best Global Music Album, Best Global Music Performance, and Best Engineered Album (Non-Classical).

The 47-minute project, featuring 11 thoughtfully crafted tracks, marks a pivotal moment in her artistic journey, celebrated for its atmospheric sound design, introspective lyrics, and emotional depth.

Meanwhile, Grammy-winning artist Arooj Aftab has submitted the remix of her critically acclaimed song Raat Ki Rani, titled Kharaang Ban, for consideration in the Best Remixed Recording category. This remix, released in April, has been widely praised for its innovative reinterpretation.
