LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released a new schedule for the upcoming by-elections, announcing polling dates and key deadlines for five constituencies across Punjab.

The spokesperson for the Punjab Election Commissioner has announced that, under the Election Act 2017, the schedule for Punjab’s by-elections has been released. By-elections will be held in five constituencies of Faisalabad and Sahiwal — NA-96, NA-104, NA-143, PP-98, and PP-203.

According to the spokesperson, the last date for filing appeals against the decisions of Returning Officers is October 24, while the Appellate Tribunal will decide on the appeals by October 31. The revised list of candidates will be published on November 1.

The spokesperson further stated that the last date for withdrawal of candidature is November 3, while election symbols will be allotted on November 4. Polling for the by-elections will be held on November 23, 2025.
