Maldives: Pakistan continued their impressive run at the Commonwealth Beach Handball Championship by securing a second consecutive win, defeating Sri Lanka with set scores of 20-18 and 23-6.

Asif Ali was named Man of the Match for his exceptional performance, playing a key role in Pakistan’s commanding victory. This win follows Pakistan’s strong start in the tournament, where they defeated their longtime rivals India 2-0 in their opening match.

Speaking after the match, Asif Ali said, “Our team is focused and determined to perform at our best in every game. This victory against Sri Lanka gives us confidence as we prepare to face the Maldives next.”

Pakistan will face the host nation Maldives tonight in their third match of the championship, aiming to maintain their winning momentum.
