Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates(UAE) is currently experiencing an intense heatwave, similar to extreme weather conditions being recorded in several parts of the world.

According to Khaleej Times, on August 1, temperatures in Sweihan and Al Ain reached a scorching 51.8°C, marking the highest temperature recorded in the country so far this year.

In Dubai, the maximum temperature has also soared, reaching up to 45°C, adding to the region’s sweltering summer conditions.

Due to severe heat, experts have taken precautionary measures and urged citizens not to work in the sun from 2 pm to 4pm.

Meanwhile, doctors have warned citizens that heat may also cause complications of dehydration in the body and other health complications, including heat stroke, so citizens should refrain from leaving the house unnecessarily.
