KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has approved the Sindh Finance Bill, which has now come into effect starting July 1.

According to sources, one of the key provisions in the bill is the exemption of motorcycles from mandatory insurance requirements. In the finance bill, the motorcycle has been exempted from the condition of mandatory insurance.

In this regard, Governor Sindh said that people have been given relief in various fields including education, health, IT, professional taxation, infrastructure and manufacturing.

The Sindh Governor has directed to ensure transparent implementation of the bill.

It is pertinent to note that Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah had presented a budget of Rs3.4 trillion 51 billion for the financial year 2025-26.
