LAHORE: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Saturday arrested three human smugglers in two separate operations.

The FIA Gujranwala arrested three human smugglers while conducting operations in Kamoke and Narowal.

The FIA spokesman ​​said that the arrested accused Tanveer, Kaiser and Akhtar were involved in human trafficking and visa fraud. They collected millions of rupees on sending citizens abroad.

The spokesman said that three Pakistani passports were recovered from the accused Tanveer.

Authorities said that the accused received four million to five million per person to send several citizens abroad.

The FIA said that the accused Kaiser took Rs 1.9 million for sending citizen for a Romanian job, while Akhtar Ali also took over Rs 5.4 million to send the citizen abroad.

Authorities said the arrested accused were hiding with huge sums.

The further investigation is underway.
