LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to become politically active.

In Lahore, Nawaz Sharif met with party leaders in which Rana Sanaullah and Khawaja Saad Rafique and others participated.

Nawaz Sharif’s meeting with the party leaders continued for 2 hours. Sources said that Nawaz Sharif has decided to become politically active and he will soon meet party workers and leaders.

Sources said that Nawaz Sharif will also play an active role in strengthening the political system.

Earlier, Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has been elected unopposed as the President of Pakistan Muslim League–Nawaz (PML-N) again after 6 years.

After the resignation of the former president of the PML-N, Shehbaz Sharif. The election was held to elect a new president, in which 8 nomination papers of Nawaz Sharif were submitted for the post of party president. The separate nomination papers were also submitted from the four provinces of Nawaz Sharif.

Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers were also submitted from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Islamabad. PML-N President Sindh Bashir Memon, Amir Mukkam from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Sardar Yaqub from Balochistan submitted Nawaz Sharif’s nomination papers.
