Far-left demonstrators have grown more assertive in recent years, with activists frequently targeting politicians’ houses. Following the leak of a draft ruling that would overturn Roe v. Wade, the liberal organization “Ruth Sent Us” publicized the alleged home addresses of Justices Amy Coney Barrett, John Roberts, Samuel Alito, Brett Kavanaugh, Clarence Thomas, and Neil Gorsuch this week.

“Ruth Sent Us” urged followers to demonstrate outside the residences of the judges. According to Fox News, there has been a heavy police presence at the justices’ houses since the leak. On May 11, the group plans to visit the residences.

Protesting outside the houses of public figures is increasingly becoming a favored pressure technique of far-left demonstrators. Several climate protestors were detained for trespassing in front of Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz’s Houston house in June of last year. The demonstrators were from the Sunrise Movement, a young climate activist group that supports the Green New Deal, according to Texas Tribune writer Erin Douglas.

Protesters gathered outside Cruz’s house, according to Douglas, to demand that President Biden halt discussions with Republicans and enact Alexandria Ocasio-“citizen Cortez’s climate corps proposal.”

In June of last year, several climate demonstrators were jailed for trespassing in front of Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz’s Houston home. The demonstrators were said to be from the Sunrise Movement, a young climate activist group that supports the Green New Deal, according to Texas Tribune writer Erin Douglas. Protesters gathered outside Cruz’s house, according to Douglas, to demand that President Biden halt talks with Republicans and adopt Alexandria Ocasio-“citizen Cortez’s climate corps proposal.”

The Sunrise Movement’s Kidus Girma said, “This action in front of his yacht club aims to show that he is a bought-out politician.”

Left-wing protestors went t  the home of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in September of last year to protest the Biden administration’s border policy. Never Again Action, a left-wing Jewish political organization, draped a foil emergency blanket across Mayorkas’ front lawn with the words “Biden presidency, Trump policies” and the hashtag “KeepYourPromises” at the bottom.
