Actor Jaideep Ahlawat has completed his shooting of the film ‘An Action Hero’

Jaideep Ahlawat has wrapped filming on his upcoming flick “An Action Hero,” which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana. The film covers an artist’s journey both in front of and behind the lens, and is billed as a polished actioner with an odd satirical sense of humour.

Anirudh Iyer, who previously worked as an associate director on “Tanu Weds Manu Returns” (2015) and “Zero,” directs the film (2018).
Khurrana will take on the role of the titular action hero. Working on “An Action Hero” has been a terrific thrill and a learning experience, according to “Pataal Lok” star Ahlawat.

“Shooting ‘An Action Hero’ gave me the best of both worlds: a lot of learning and even more enjoyment!” Working with the entire ‘An Action Hero’ crew has been a delight and an eye-opening experience. The 42-year-old actor stated, “Anirudh Iyer’s storytelling is excellent, and Ayushmann was just the most amazing co-star!”

Colour Yellow Production, headed by filmmaker Aanand L Rai, and T-Series, headed by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, are producing “An Action Hero.”
The film began production in January of this year, with the first schedule shooting in London.
