After captivating audiences in cinemas, the investigative thriller is now preparing for its OTT release. Viewers will soon be able to enjoy the film at home, as it is set to arrive on Netflix on November 8.

That’s right! During her appearance at the World Summit, Kareena Kapoor announced that Hansal Mehta’s directorial, “The Buckingham Murders”, will be available for streaming on Netflix starting November 8, 2024.

In an earlier interview with a private news outlet, Kareena Kapoor, who also produced “The Buckingham Murders”, emphasized how special the film was to everyone involved. She pointed out that in today’s cinema, language no longer holds the same significance; what truly matters is the story being told.

Kareena reportedly mentioned that the project was created with heart and expressed gratitude to Ektaa Kapoor for her unwavering support, calling her the backbone of the venture.

Reflecting on her career, Bebo, who has been in Bollywood for over two decades, shared her lifelong passion for acting, saying it runs in her blood and that she has always wanted to be in front of the camera.

Hansal Mehta directed “The Buckingham Murders”, which stars Kareena Kapoor as a detective assigned to solve the murder of a 10-year-old in Buckinghamshire.

Balaji Telefilms and TBM Films co-produced the movie, with Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa Kapoor playing key roles in its production. Aseem Arrora, Kashyap Kapoor, and Raghav Raj Kakker wrote the screenplay.

“The Buckingham Murders” had its global premiere at the 2023 BFI London Film Festival and earned critical acclaim at the 2023 MAMI Mumbai Film Festival.

On the work front, Kareena Kapoor will next appear in Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again”, starring alongside Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Arjun Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, and Tiger Shroff. “Singham Again” is set to release in theaters on Diwali, November 1, 2024.
